My First November With Two Small Children Is Definitely the Time to Attempt Something I Haven't Done Since High School

yes, I'm talking about NaNoWriMo.

(This is just to say)

I have chosen

to participate

in National Novel Writing Month

instead of cleaning

the icebox

and which

is probably not

a very wise plan

considering how

sleep deprived I am these days

forgive me

creativity burns

(or maybe that’s my sleepless eyelids)

and I really want

to write a romantic comedy

and I am not

good at poetry

and by the time you read this

I will have already begun.
