This is so real. Additionally, when I was in that phase, many people told me it was the best phase. I'm sure this is a matter of personal preference, but my kids are all ages 4-8 now and it is GLORIOUS. It does get a whole lot better. Hugs.
Love this piece! "I wasn’t a mommy when we got married, though. I was just a person." It's easy to forget we're "just a person" with all the titles and stuff and thoughts. Something I enjoy doing every once in awhile for meal planning: Take a cookbook and say "Hey Google pick a number between..." and then make a meal that's on the randomly selected page. Minimal brain effort and it's fun! (though sometimes none of the recipes sound good, so in that case, Google picks a new number)
